Koothambalam is a magnificent indoor space that reflects the charm of Kerala’s traditional architecture. Our Koothambalam originally meant as a performance space is done in the style of temple theaters found next to the sanctum of major temples of Kerala. With an adjoining Nalukettu (traditional courtyard), Koothambalam can seat about 100 guests - an ideal venue for intimate weddings, engagements, reunions and other family functions.
The luscious lawn around Koothambalam adds to its charm and also doubles up as a vibrant party space for evening functions. Luscious landscape all around with the traditional Koothambalam and Nalukettu as backdrop, the front lawns are an ideal party space for 200 - 250 guests. Our guests also often combine the lawns with Nalukettu to bring more space, variety and glitter to their functions.
Jaalam Canopy is a covered green space suitable for larger functions of up to 500 guests. It maintains the aesthetic appeal of an outdoor garden space while providing weather protection to hold functions during sun or rain. With a separate approach road and entrance, Jaalam Canopy can be used as a stand alone function space or can be combined with other spaces and amenities in Neelambari.
Jaalam - By the Pond is a beautiful outdoor function space by our traditional pond. WIth lush green landscape all around, the space flows around the pond and is an ideal venue to host evening functions for 400 - 500 guests. The park adjacent to it, the pond with its fountain and lighting, trees all around all add to the charm for an evening function and presents plenty of options to plan the tone and decor of the event.
